people post pics please :sps under actinics ?

can people please post some montipora and Acropora type species that really "glow" under their actinic lighting? im looking to buy some really nice blue or red color sps . my pink birdsnest is beautiful but it dosnt florescess at all. i really want somthing that will florescess!! thanks everyone!!

Its been my experience that blues and reds don't fluoresce terribly much under actinics, occasionally different colored polyps might, but not so much the flesh itself, your birdsnest is a prime example. There are other colored birdsnest that get some nice fluorescence, but your best bet will be green corals and to a lesser degree oranges (caps, sunsets, etc)

thanks .i was afraid of that lol . i had 2 monti caps that were pink and red and floressed wonderfully. i was just looking for some "branching" type corals with this property . i have so much green in my tank and my rocks are purple with coraline that i wanted to add some more color i.e. blue and red. hmm anyone else have any ideas possibly?

yea i saw the ORA red planet acropora its beautiful!! i wish the red popped like the color it is . its so amazing looking

Instead of all 03 actinics, maybe try adding one 454, I think they will help with the reds and complement the 03's.

i have 1 actinic, 1 blue plus, 1 fiji purple, and 1 blue special in my T5 mixture. the colors look wonderful. im just looking for some blue and red branching sps that really pop . i havnt come across any that really floress in those colors. i do have pink zoas that look beautiful though
