Did you see any pictures/videos of them spawning? Or at least of the eggs? I wouldn't purchase a mated pair without that proof -- seeing how should cost more.

Then again, could just buy a pair and let nature takes it course, unless you are a breeder, IMO, no need to pay extra from a mated pair.

Todd, he did get more information by posting this thread. The first post about the mated pair was a fantastic post. I wouldn't have thought about asking for proof of a mated pair. Neither did the op. This wasn't posted in his build thread. Now it's out there for all to see/read. :D

Sorry Todd....did not mean to waste your time or make repetitive threads. I just wanted to gather more opinions.

Plus I think thus thread was educational for more then just me.

if some of you are so concerned with ur time/advice being wasted there is an easy fix. dont say anything. let the op gather his/her data and opinions

How about this -- I won't post in this thread again, and any of the ones that you guys may have.

Best of luck.

Let's all keep this friendly. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

I just don't understand the hostility on the forums sometimes. I haven't been a member for too long but it didn't take long to realize that some newbie questions aren't liked sometimes. The amount of information is overwhelming at times and there are some "dumb" questions. The hobby will only advance with the advanced hobbyists helping the beginners. Have a good night all and happy reefing
