Petco’s hidden sale

Just got two BTA’s from my local Petco. I was initially buying 1 due to the colors I was seeing and they were marked at $60. The one rings up at $40 so I went back and got the second as there was two in the corner that I was initially looking at. Got them home and in my wife’s BTA tank. Here’s the pic in the Petco tank and in my wife’s tank

The one is a bit more bleached than it looked but should recover nicely

I've noticed my Petco's pricing is a bit wonky in livestock as well. Usually (with the exception of my $60 LTA) the price at the register is lower than what is posted on the tanks. That said, my Petco goes in cycles of livestock looking terrible, then a week later, everything looks great.

I just went in to our local petco and they had high end hammers in. They want 290 for them. I was thinking, nobody is paying that. Then across town, I got a two headed torch for 59 at the other Petco.

Nice. Our Petco just started getting in basic hammers for $79. But they’re so small it’s just not worth it to me. It’s amazing though, as there’s a Petco by my moms that will discount stuff after it’s been too long just to move it but my local petcos just keep it in there til sells at full cost or on a corporate sale or it dies sadly.
