Petco sale

Petco this week is having a sale on AGA tanks size 1-55
$1 dollar a gallon..
40 gallon breeder for 40 bucks
Sale ends next weekend and its only for items in stock no rain checks

Only bummer is bow fronts are excluded but it sounds like a great time to get that sump or next nano set aside. I know i am picking up a 40G breeder tomorrow.

I think it is 20-55 gallon tanks as I went to pick up a 2.5 or 5 and they were not covered in the sale.

Great deal on the bigger tanks though, thanks for the heads up.

Yeah saw the same ad...decided to get a 20 long to setup as a QT tank for fish going into my 90.....these prices should be EVERYDAY imo...

You could go to Octopus Gardens. Ron sells Lee Mar tanks $1 per gallon.

Mister Crabs.....If you can fit the 20 long I would go for that personally... Reason being is you'll still have the same volum3e of water but have more space for either a bigger area if you decide to add a fuge and bottom line more room to add equipment with no space constraints. good luck.

thx for advice...thats what i will do. my wife doesnt understand that i need a 40 gal and a 20 gal. she thinks i can use a ten gal i have in garage as my sump....lol

I went to Petco and got an 40BDR and 54 Corner tanks, both are AGA for $94.00. Now, what am I doing with them????

Buy 3 Oceanic Tanks of your choosing (yes the sale includes them, at least at mine it does). Return 2 tanks a month later at a diff petco (or same if you have a friend working there). Get giftcard and use it to get overpriced stand for remaining tank.

Go to the local fabric store and buy polyester batting. Same stuff as filter floss and a lot cheaper.

i got a 40 stretch hex for....you guessed it....$40 bux!! woohoo!!


and i got a friend taht works there and buying the tanks now and returning them later for instore credit wont work...they are in the system at sale price and in store credit returns are at last sale price on last 90 days.

Just got a 33g cube with glass top and lighting for $33 It was the last one they had, said people had been calling about them all morning. I'm in Dallas, TX BTW.
