Lost a third anthias over the night. Daily water changes on the QT.

The remaining anthias are eating Roti-feast, the PBT is eating mysid and frozen Formula Two. The BSJ and CBB are eating mysid, and the leopard wrasse is eating tigger pods.

The losses such, but all-in-all at least most fish are eating well.

Pete, just curious about your water test in the tank; What did you do (if anything) to reduce the noise of the water draining into the sump, or was that not an issue for you? Thanks!

Using the newer Megaflow over flows and terminating under the water level hasn't created any noise issues for me.

To neutralize ammonia waste from the fish in a tank with no real filtration, as well as to bind the ammonia in the transport water during acclimation.

so pete how is your skimmer working being fed off the down? mine is still waiting for me to install it on my 300, but im going to have to do some re-plumbing under my tank. between you and JRAquatics, i cant deice to feed from my down or Y off of my return pump.

Mechanically it appears to be doing just fine, but since I have no bioload in the tank yet, the bubbles come to the top of the "Reeflo" label and no higher.

How is your stuff doing?


I have not seen any of the wrasses I bought but I am sure they are just still hiding,

But other than that everything is doing good.

Well, the 4 remaining anthias appear to be doing well. Everything else seems to be doing okay. I'm doing about 20% water changes daily and adding Amquel to keep the ammonia in the undetectable range, and keeping up on the Formalin 3 treatments every day.

I'll give you a ring.
