PFO Custom Hoods

Hello Jeremy and everyone @ PA,

I have a few questions about your 36" 1 Socket PFO Hood if you don't mind.

1.) Can I substitute the standard PFO ballast for the PFO HQI (M80) ballast?
2.) For the actinic ballast I would like to use IceCap for VHO lamps, what one do I choose: 430 or 660?
3.) Do I get to choose what reflectors on the MH and actinics? Can I choose DE or SE reflector?
4.) What's the warranty on these fixtures?
5.) Do you have any pictures of these fixtures besides the one on your site? I'm particularly interested in a picture of the hood in a stainless steel finish, they sound pretty slick.
6.) Can PFO HQI ballasts be dimmed?
7.) Can moonlights be incorporated into this fixture?

1.) You can do any ballast / bulb combo of any wattage you choose with these hoods, the combinations are almost limitless.

2.) Either the 430 or 660 will run the two bulbs in there the same. The 430 will save you a few dollars.

3.) There is only one reflector that comes in these hoods, which is the PFO Parallel unit. Other than the Lumenarc reflectors, the PFO Parallel's are far and away better than the larger Lumenarc's, and at 6" and 9" respectively you're actually getting more intense light output with the PFO.

4.) PFO Warranty is for two years.

5.) Unfortunately the only finish that is available is the black right now.

6.) There is no dimming feature available on these ballasts.

7.) You can use the PFO mogul mount moonlights to be mounted on the underneath side of the mogul socket on the halide.

With these fixtures there are so many combinations of options that it's best to give us a call and let us know exactly what you want to run and we can work up the price for you.
