Just got my 180 setup last week with 3 250w 14K Phoenix HQI DE bulbs run by M80 ballast and I like the look without VHO supplement.

I use 3 phoenix 250w on icecap electronic ballasts to light my 210g. The color and growth have been great so far. I changed the last set of bulbs out at a year and didn't notice any change in growths or colors.

And yeah, here are the pics (a lot were already posted in some other forums

Anyone running the 150watt bulb? Reason I'm asking is I lowered my bulb tonight from 8" to 6.5" and it looks alot better. Maybe I had my 150W too high?

CamBarr- Thanks! I agree sand is nice but as Aquaduck said it all got skimmed out when the Tunze's kicked on Sorry no sand or zeo or prodibio.
