Picasso acting wierd

Hello all, I'm new here, and I am having trouble with a young Picasso Triggerfish, He lays on his side at the top of the tank for about an hour 4-5 times a day, He eats fine, swims fine, looks fine and even has the energy to pick on my porcupine puffer
I have no idea what might be causing this.

The water quality is perfect, i test 3 times a week, and since he's been acting like this I've taken water samples to my LFS and it tests perfect there too....

I feed Hikari frozen Krill, Hikari frozen silversides, Hikari frozen brine shrimp, and Hikari frozen mega marine cubes

Anybody know why he would be doing this?
the only thing I could think of is maybe he's getting poisoned from picking on/biting the puffer every now and then.

P.S.- I've even tried to see if he just wats a tummy rub, although he did let me do it, it didn't seem to fix his floating problem

nobody knows? he's doing it now, he's alert (he'll watch you as you move infront of the tank breathing isn't fast or slowed, maybe he's just retarded

Hmm, Does your trigger have a hidding place? My trigger when I first put him in he went to the button and laid there for that day. I read somewhere its normal if they cant find a place they will lay somewhere. this is my guess.

I have one today also

I have one today also

Hate to jump on your thread, but I also have a sick Picasso today .. he just lays where he normally does napping and before/after sleeping for the night. His eyes are alert and he follows me, but just lays lile willie-lump-lump. Breathing ok (I guess) but have no clue. Usually eats krill or silversides, but last night I gave him some shrimp form the A&P (it smelled OK) and he got kind of tired early. Thought it was like me eating lots of turkey. Maybe it's a northeast thing ..... Tsumani coming? ... maybe someone can help us both out. Gonna call my marine biologist pal in a little.... if he has some ideas I wil post them.
