Picasso Clownfish Photos - Please Post Yours

My new Snowcasso. If this one colors like the first one did, the light area within the orange between the stripes in the second pic should fill in white. We shall see.

For size reference, that's the smallest net they sell, as far as I know. I think they are 3x3 inches.

help appreciated!

help appreciated!

I'm searching for any pictures of the original "Picasso" percula pair that Vince Rado at ORA aquired in the summer of 2004 from an LA wholesaler.

is this a picture of that same pair?

Dustin: could you provide us with some recent pictures of those white picassos?
Might you also let us know exactly how they came to be? Were they produced from original ORA picasso stock?

Why are ORA Picasso so colorless when they sell them? It seem that some of them color up really nice at reefer's tank but the orange coloration is very pale yellow when release from ORA. Does anybody notice this other than me? I know that most of the tank raise baby clowns from ORA have popping orange form feeding, but not Picasso from ORA

probably have to do with the natural coloration associated with maturity of A.percula.

If anyone was wondering I did not get mine from ORA. I got mine from a private breeder. The color probably has to do wih the diet, stress, etc from being captive bred. just my 2 cents

cheers

Here are my Grade B pair. The lighter one I just got 2 days ago. They are oth still pretty young I think so they shoul get more color with age.

I am fairly certain that it got to do with diet. I know that Rod's clowns are much brighter orange even at a much younger age than the ones for ORA. Here is a picture of Rod's clown that are not quite 1 inch yet

Hey Magga Pie that perc has really colored up since Ive had him. He looks great and the black is filling in nicely. Good job dude!

Thanks! Yea latlely his black has been filling in more and more each day he is looking great now the other one needs to start filling in.

A month after getting the clowns the black is starting to fill in, the white is still developing, the orange is getting deeper and they have grown a little.

enjoy!

The white between the second and third lines are also starting to connect on the clown to the left.
