Picassos bars finished forming?

I don't believe the white will continue to spread. I think the black start to will come in with time. But I'm no expert...

Yep. What you see is what you get. The black markings will continue to develop, but the white is pretty much done. Gorgeous fish!

It might spread more!
The white on many of my picassos continue to spread until around 1 year old.
Many of my customers report the same.

Here is a progression shot for one of my breeding males.

Judging by the maturity and size, "almost 2 inches", of the OP's fish, they are probably somewhere around a year old. Maybe older??? Past the time of significant changes to their white markings. There is an area near the dorsal fin of the female, that still has that airbrushed look, so it may develop a little in that area, but nothing significant. The OP won't see changes to their fish like you saw in yours between 2 and 10 months of age.

BTW, That's one gorgeous fish!

Thanks, that is kinda what I was thinking. The stripe near the top of the females head also looks "airbrushed". The male is starting to have black around all of his bars so I figure that is the indicator he is done.

Crossing my fingers that the females color spreads.
