Everyone, my coralife super skimmer 125 broke and now I have to invest in another skimmer....i want to do it the right way, any inputs would be great. I'm torn between reading the posts and researching...

thanks!!!

My budget is below $300...hopefully it stays that way.

MSX and Octo Extreme's are pretty much the same, but i voted MSX anyways because it sounds cooler  Wiz ;)

I've got the MSX200 (actually the SWC200, which is the same) and I'm really impressed with it. It works very well and is really easy to clean. These are well built skimmers and the price is well worth it.

I am still a huge fan of th euro reefs. I feed fairly heavy so I needed a good skimmer. I have the Euroreef (cant remember model) that is rated for 250 gal. I am amazed everytime I empty the milk jug my skimmer drains in to.

This is the simplest, best, easiest to use skimmer I have ever seen.....set it and forget it...

Also if your trying to save $$$ you can get them fairly cheap used...

i take it this is fora 90 gallon.
Vertex in 180 first choice
msx 200 second.
Actually a msx160 would work too.
there is a used one for sale in the for sale section for $200 i think i saw. That would work too.
