anyways...i was curious about that first trigger....can anyone identify it?

I have never seen that reverse Blue Tang, that is so cool.

Uncommon Trigger = Xanthichthys caeruleolineatus

I think TwilightAquatics had one when they were still in business. I think it goes for big bucks.

I just saw the trigger tonight too. Pretty nice but got the 1500 dollar tag to it. So instead I bought the myster wrasse which was much cheaper. I have to say it's an unusual trigger though. the red hue on the body and tail is quite awsome. You guys should go check it out.

I figured it was big bucks.

A cool and definitely RARE fish. We throw that term around a lot in this hobby, but this is one fish that fits the bill and lives up to the term.

An expensive fish doesnt always make a fish rare. But like Ali mentioned, this is indeed a rare fish. So secsay!!!

Deep water I think Johnny. I actually think the first one ever caught was in the early 90s by a fisherman with a regular fishing pole. That dude probably had the most expensive dinner in his life.

when i was in tahiti on a little tour of a lagoon. their was a local spearfishing, he caught a trigger. it was about a 12" trigger........at the time i didnt know or think to care. the guide told me that it was great to eat. when i got into reefing, due to my tahiti visit, i was astonished at it.
