Well I finally made took the time to get my 20L officially going and just purchased a Nikon D3100 with just a AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm Lense. Just starting with searching for great Macro Lenses as well as Telephoto, and Wide-Angle lenses. I do lots of outdoorsy things during the Summer so I figured I'd like to get a few different types. Well here are a few starter pictures, just the standard shots, no photoshop, balancing...just click and shoot for now. When I get the chance(once the weather gets nicer) I can finally get out and enjoy taking more photos. So for now, here are pictures of my 20 Long with 4x24w lighting and a AC 70 Refugium(changing over to a CPR w/ skimmer soon).

I look forward to a pictureful Spring and Summer!

Great pics! Love the orange plate! I guess you are the one that got the bigger orange plate that I was eyeing at ABC lol Keep the pics coming! Nikon and Canon are neck to neck cameras. I personally have a Canon 40D which I love :) Had it ever since it came out!

Thanks Alex. Yeah, I decided to stay out of the Canon and Nikon "who's better" fight. We're hobbyists and can just enjoy the pictures that people take. Yeah the Orange Plates looked nice, I had to have one...lol.

Thanks everyone. I wish it was bigger but this works perfectly into my lifestyle for the moment. I'm actually having a ton of fun with it and acting like a kid in a candy store with it. Picked up another Fungia today. I will add pics soon, got to have time to sit and shoot. Perfection is a must! lol

It really does. Just a simple 4x24w t5's are plenty bright. I'm going to check out the par near the bottom. I like it being a smaller tank, it fills up pretty quick. Here are a few more photos:

Torch is coloring up nicely. Wild Caught Specimen that has similarities to URS' Famous TT.

The rare land dwelling species. I think she is related closely to the "Chocolate Fudge Brownie Cake" English Labrador Retriever.

Torches are pretty good with lighting. I've seen them under it all, I do recommend t5's or halides but that's JMO. Just give them good flow and keep your parameters spot on and they do very well.

Thanks Dave!

Thanks!

I have decided to just keep it a species tank for my nems. I will say that your tank looks a lot bigger than it really is. You did a nice job on the scape to.
