In regards to the price of the meter, I actually thought that it was pretty good, premium aquatics must buy a ton of them and get better prices.
the ph meter is $19 cheaper than 1 online vender, $14 cheaper than another and $10 cheaper than the lowest reseller. Remember that even with the group buys, the online companies still buy many more units than us, and they continually buy.
Ex cept for the magnet which according to the manufacturer was a record
.
and remember that we are talking about a $10-20 savings on a $70 item, which % wise is not bad. Look at the probes PA is the cheapest at $39.95 and these are $30 thats a 25% savings off the lowest online seller.
But I do agree with a few of you on this one, if I was interested in buying a pinpoint and going to anyway then I would get in on this order, but it is not enough of a saving to convince me to buy one out of the blue.
This is the same problem I am having with the Seaswirls, the 1" unit after shipping etc only save you $20 or so, but for me $20 is $20.
One last thing, it is great knowing that PA does have good prices and is not trying to rip us off, I think that their prices are very much in line JMO
