Pipefish In Prop Tank???

within the next few months i will be setting up a 10 gallon prop. tank because some of my corals in my 20 are over growing. my question is would a pipefish (multibanded or dragonface) work in it by itself with no other fish?

my lfs has both and they are about 2" long each, very small.

Here's the million dollar question. Are the pipes eating prepared foods? If not, then you have to treat them like a mandarin, in which case the 10 would be too small without a supplemental copepod population.

I agree with ann83. If you can get them to eat, say oyster eggs, then they would be fine in a 10 gallon, but otherwise you would definitely need to find a way to attach a refugium or otherwise supplement live copepods for them to eat.
