Anyone know whatever these white round critters on the glass are? They haven't seemed to have moved..... i know they are not sporbid worms.

Do majano have a skeleton?

Do majano have a skeleton?

Hi guys. I have what I believe is a Majano in my tank. I zapped it with Joes juice, it left a skeleton behind. About 6 weeks later it's back alive. So my question is do majano's have a skeleton and second is it normal for them to come back from the skeleton after so long of seeming dead? I can't get a proper photo of it to confirm what it is. It's in an impossible spot to photo.

if what you killed indeed has a skeleton then it is definitely not a majano. most likely something like a hidden cup coral

Hi guys I've recently begun a new 100 gallon reef aquarium that has just now finished cycling. I have various rocks and last night noticed what I believe is a limpet. Is this good or bad? I can't seem to find a way to upload a pic from my note 4 phone. It says it fails when I try thanks.

It did have a skeleton so I will keep an eye on it and see how it goes. Its growing on in the a dark spot so not sure how well it will do if it needs light to survive. Thanks for the input!

I have something in my tank that I'm not to sure about. Only comes out at night and seems to change colors to match the rock. It looks like a snail, but the part that I assume is the shell, the color blends in with the rest of the body. It has two little antennas as well. Its hard to get a pic because I don't see if everyday and when I do its at night. Would you happen to know what it is?

Torch coral has all kinds of extra critters. I dipped in Coral RX, then stuck it in my display for a few minutes... but have since pulled it out and put it into my otherwise empty QT tank. At the top I suspect vermetid snail (critter #1). I have no clue about the rest.

Critter #1 - only pic I've been able to get of this one. The hole itself makes me suspect vermetid snail.

Critters 2, 3 and 4. At the bottom of the frag, the red circular growth. Is that even a critter? On the top of the plug is #3, looks like an anemone, sort of. Very clear. #4 at very bottom of plug looks to be some sort of worm. Pest?

Are these pods? If so what type and are they good/bad? Look like little white ants.
1,000's of them all over my glass and maybe free swimming b.c my tank seems alot cloudier now. Just finished cycling 30daysish old.

yes those are pods. i don't think they cause cloudiness, but those definitely look like pods that i have.
