Pix & ID: Critters that come in your rocks: the good and the bad.

Great pics and info. My partner said she saw a worm fly out of a candy cane frag we bought but hasn't it again, even when we stripped the sand out. Got some aptasia though. How quick do they take over a tank? Mines a 160ltr so quite small for a reef.

Is this a coral?

Is this a coral?

I've been using the site and Google to identify all the little creatures that have appeared, but this one has me stumped.

During the day, or any light for that matter it's just a green blob, but if I turn the light on after a hour of no light it opens up like the picture.

Any ideas?

Cheers

The hairier the scarier?

The hairier the scarier?

Was just splitting my new starburst polyps and this little guy came running out. He's about 1.5cm long/wide.

Any ideas? I have some soft corals and zoanthids, so if he's not reef safe I'll dump him. He's in my quarantine tank for now.

Thanks!

Looking for a little help on what i found on the glass of my tank. The tank has been set up for a number of years. Do not know if it is a bad Nudibranch It is about a thrid of an inch long.

@dudemp looks like a nudibranch to me I cannot specify the type as there are so many but generally from what I have read and seen other say remove he's a bad guy. They all have a specific food source which could be corals. I'm new but thats what I think it is. Might want to wait for a more experienced reefers opinion.
