Spiky Coraline?

Spiky Coraline?

Hi all!
Can anybody point me in the right direction on this thing encrusting my frag plug? It grew up from underneath so I don't think it needs light. The spikes aren't sharp, they kinda feel like beard stubble. They don't move or extend or retract ever.

Thanks :)

Hi there! I'm back in the hobby after 4 years but I'm new to both nano tanks and uncured live rock. Can anymore ID this critter? The tentacles retract when I shine the light on it. Thank you!

Founds this guy roaming around tonight after I added two new Zoa frags. It moves just like a spider and seems to have eggs or white dots on its bottom side.

Thanks in advance for any feedback as I don't know what this is.

Good, bad, or burn with fire?

Just starting in the hobby.

Got this tank for about a month and a half, put some live rock in it, and got this that starting growing on it... well not really growing, it just appeared two weeks ago, and has not really grown that I can see... Might have been there when I put the rock in and I didn't notice it...

If anyone could help me identify it, I have searched alot, and don't find anything. I tought Aiptasia, but it dosen't really match the pics I found online...

It's brownish and small, the big one is about 1/2 inch wide and mayby 1/4 tall.

Thanks

Can't tell for sure from pictures, but going with Sugar on the hair algae. I'm guessing there is no retraction when you agitate it? And if it does... I'm wrong :)
Setting up a new tank is always amazing. Good luck and be patient.

Can anyone possibly help and tell me what this is. It's nocturnal because during the day you would never of noticed it as its flat against the rock then at night when all the lights are off it comes out about 20mm from the rock. It has a pale colour disc and brown spikey tentacles that look a bit like spider legs.. Not sure if it's something I need to get out of my tank or not. I've ruled out Aiptasia due to its nocturnal behaviour.

Thanks to both of you.

No retraction when I touch it I even saw one of my hermit crab walking on it.

What made me hesitate abour the hair algea is that when I touch it, it's one mass, when I move it, it moves as a whole... I tought algea would be more... seperate strands...?

definitely a nudibranch of some sorts not sure of the species though.. usually they will resemble the coral or organism of which they eat.. not all are bad but most are.. maybe someone more experienced will chime in though
