Pizza Night! Thursday, September 13th, Seascape Studios and Growlers Pub

Oleary's looks interesting, they have a pretty extensive menu. Anyone actually been there that can vouch for the food?

Olearys has great food. Every time I've been there it has been with a large group and we always get great service.

O'Leary's has great food. You could walk down there from SS. Growler's just had the better atmosphere and beer selection. If that's changed O'leary's isn't a bad 2nd choice. Unless you want to drive to Webster Groves for Llywelyn's... the club went there one time after TWP. Nook had 7 plates of food that night if I recall.

Is there a tank visit planned afterwards? That could send in a direction of more choices.

It's good food. And you'd expect there to be booze there with an Irish name like O'Leary's. :) There are rumors that John Goodman is or was part owner with the current owner.

Gonna have to miss this one as I am working that evening, as our anniversary is the day before.

Ok, here's the final plan...

Meet at Seascape around 6:30 then wander over to O'Leary's for eats and  around 7:30pm. Then, after dinner Brad (bradleym) and Esther have graciously offered to host the tank visit portion of the night at their place. Thanks you two! I'll let Brad fill us in on any details.

Should be a great night. See you all next week!

Well basically, I don't have a huge house, but I just had a deck added, so as long as the weather plays nice we should be able fit some people in, and I just hate to see a PN go without a visit. I have a 210g long aquarium that is a mixed reef with WAY more anemones than any expert would recommend, with a 40g sump/refugium, a 20g QT. Also a FW 6g Fluval Edge in the works cuz it fit the new design of the living room (you'll see what I mean).

I don't have a bar or anything fancy, so BYOB but I'll have a few around for the early arrivals. And maybe some chips I guess? IDK, not really the "hosting" type. :) Any other questions feel free to PM me.

Thanks to Brad for offering up his house...does the wife know yet:D??

See, here is a perfect example of why forums are dangerous - I get so much time to think of a response that I end up unable to decide. So I'll just give you my first 2 gut-reflex reponses:

1. Does she HAVE to know?

2. No, it's cool. She heard you weren't gonna make it and so she's ok with it. :wildone:

In actuality, I wasn't going to offer because her birthday is the following saturday (15th), and I wanted her to enjoy it fish-free. But this was her idea. You guys must be making an impression. :)

Thanks! I can't wait to see how good you can make it look with that awesome camera of yours.
