placement in a 58?

Roger-- I have a bare bottom 58 Oceanic sps tank and was considering the 6010 stream w/controller. I have a 3/4" sea swirl in the back right corner and the overflow box is in the back left. I was thinking of putting the stream in the back left corner (between overflow box and back glass) shooting it slightly diagonal to front center glass & letting it bounce around from there. What would you suggest & can you mount them in a corner or does the mount have to lay flat? Thanks! The Tunze factory slide show is fascinating btw.

It sounds like it should work. Generally I would use the right corner as it gives the longest distnace and would eliminate the risk of the water being still in front of the overflow. It really depends on the power and effectiveness of the sea swirl.

Hi Roger,
A couple of questions along the same lines:
I take it you don't consider a 58 gal. too small for the 6100, is that right?
Speaking of the same 58 gal tank--but with a centered overflow instead--what would you consider to the the ideal Tunze stream configuration?
Thanks

For a 6100 definitely that would be pushing the limits of sanity. A 6000 could work but a 6100 would be extreme flow on such a small tank. A TS07 would be the best bet- just one pump and a single controller.
