2nd Kaudern's Cardinal - Tank-Bred (Pterapogon kauderni) x3
3rd Jawfish, Yellowhead (Opistognathus aurifrons) x2
4th Midas Blenny (Ecsenius midas) x1
5th Scooter Blenny (Synchiropus ocellatus) x1
6th Orchid Dottyback - Tank-Bred(Pseudochromis fridmani) x2
7th Red Mandarin (Pterosynchiropus splendidus var.) x1
After those I will have to see…maybe a clown fish then add a Rose Tip anemone. Sometime between this a Pacific Tang. I have plenty of rock work for the fish to hide in and space for foraging and swimming.

I want to add a variety of corals....any I should be especially wary of with my fish choices?

I have 20 Astrea snails, 10 narsissus snails, 1 green Emerald crab, 3 scarlet hermit crabs (wanna add two more) and a Peppermint Shrimp.

72 gal bowfront w/ 30lbs of LR and 50lbs of other rocks which half of are seeding as LR w/29 gal sump running carbon filters when I feel the need, bio-balls, 65 gal Coralife skimmer and refugium w/ Chaeto LS and LR rubble.

BTW....I was going to get the Pacific Blue Tang really tiny and upgrade to a larger tank later anyways....they don't grow to fast...right?

This is what I have 55 gallon
60 pounds live rock
4 turbo snails
2 nassarius snails
2 brittle starfish
Snowflake eel
15 hermit crabs
Valentini puffer
melanurus wrasse

I'm thinking of adding two clowns and a rbta as well as a flame angel. But I do have another reef tank if the puffer or flame angel decide to start nibbling. Let me know what ya think

I would not add any fish to this tank

tank upgrades rarely happen and this fish grows quickly. RC recommends a 240 gallon tank for a hepatus tang

My cycle has been finished on 6/10 and I added my cuc on 6/15. My first fish is still in QT for another two weeks. Would it be ok to add a cleaner shrimp and maybe either a brittle or serpent sea star to my DT?

While this thread is about marine fish compatibility, yes it would be fine.

I think its better to test the important parameters(NH3 - NO2 - PH - no3 - po4) before adding anything. Another point is that you should introduce the fish at first and then invertebrates

Ocellaris clown and a splendid dottyback.

do you see any issues and how is the stocking level? I have an EV120 skimmer.

Would you suggest not adding the Splendid Dottyback? Are all dottybacks very aggressive?

What if I skip the dottyback, could I add 3 Agile Chromis to the tank with the Blue Reef Chromis?

Chromis over time will winnow down their number to just one or two. All dottybacks are aggressive, the least aggressive is P. fridmani.

Okay, I am somewhat confused. Would it be better to add just one chromis? Are the Blue Reef Chromis and Agile chromis compatible? Since I already have 3 Reef Chromis could I add an agile chromis to the tank without issue?

So new stocking list:

3 Blue Reef Chromis
1 golden midas blennie
1 Ocellaris Clown
1 Agile Chromis
1 Orchid Dottyback

Would this work?

I am not questioning your expertise but clearly you are not a member of Reef Central Staff. I am nicely (I hope) asking for your cooperation. As someone new to this board, I am sure you want to create an initial positive impression.

I prefer resplendants or carberryi and would probably increase the number a bit from your plan. Coloration and appearance to my eye are better but it is clearly a subjective choice

29 gallon fowlr. No sump no skimmer but weekly water changes of 5 gallons. Simple hob filter with chrmipure elite and floss. 25 lbs live rock, 40 lbs live sand. Currently just have a blue dot puffer. Would love to add the following...flame angel, six line and either saddleback clown or maroon clown or snowflake clown? Any and all advice appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I like both but they are not guaranteed to be reef safe especially towards meaty LPS corals.

the puffer can be aggressive towards other fish. The maroon clown will become aggressive as it matures and will want to own that tank.
