4x Blue reef chromis will winnow down to one or two; more importantly they have been coming in with some sort of health issue
2x yellow striped maroon clown fish highly aggressive
2x 3-Spot Domino Damselfish highly aggressive; avoid
2X Bicolor Dottyback highly aggressive; avoid
Magnificent Foxface too many grazers
Powder blue tang too many grazers
Powder brown tang too many grazers
Blonde naso tang needs a larger tank
Yellow belly regal blue tang needs a larger tank
Harlequin Tusk
Puffer of some sort can be aggressive
Maybe a couple of wrasses needs a covered top and depending on species, sand
SPS
LPS
Soft corals like leather

Carpet anemone can eat fish

Basically you have too many fish and especially too many large fish in a tank that size

I will definitely be keeping soft corals, various inverts, and ideally would like a single specimen fish. However, if the dimensions of the tank are unsuitable, I am ok having a fish-less tank.
My top pick would be a banggai cardinal - my LFS employees insist it will be fine, but I am concerned my tank is too small.
Also considering a fire fish, or a randalls goby (do they have to be kept with a pistol shrimp?).

I understand that but i ask for a reason and take your advise seriously. I will I am sure put my favorites in and see how it looks from there and if it looks full i wont add all the remainders.

i just wanted to know what my limit is and work from there. thanks for all the help and information. espescially items that arent compatible etc..

The problem I have with answering a question of this type is that "limits" are not quantitative as much as they are interactive behavioral. Unfortunately, that is an art rather than a science. The greater the number of animals in the same ecological niche, the more difficult assessment becomes and at times the more arbitrary the answer seems.

Yeah Been reading up on the chromis. I changed the feeding from once to twice a day. I also added two extra types of food that I change everyday. I also give them pellets here and there when they start to nibble around the top of the tank. It's too bad really cause they are beautiful fish.

that is good but will not make a difference in the reduction to one; also chromis are not coming in healthy for reasons as yet undetermined

fish that inhabit the exact same ecological niche can rarely be kept more than one at a time unless the tank is much larger than yours

I was thinking to add 1 fighting conch, and some Nassarius snails, and a Pepperment shrimp.

Yes, it should be fine. Be sure to feed the Kole tang Nori on a clip.

Decided to go with two Helfrichi's gobies first so they can go into the tank first and get comfortable. They are in quarantine now.

I have a second tank (QT/hospital tank) that can receive fish as well. I will of course stagger the introduction of all the fishes into the DT so the the biolfilter has time to adapt.

I was looking at the Bartlet anthia and have read on several sites that they don't require as large of a tank as the other anthias, so could I do 2 or 3 of these? I know they will not school in the tank and that is not the expectation.
