Thank you!
I plan on keeping a sheet or two of seaweed in the tank at all times. Wasn't aware that the cleaner goby had a short life-span, very surprised/saddened when I looked it up and saw only 1-2 years for it's average life as he's already one of my favorite fish due to how active he is.

Thanks again!

Heyo, some local reefers are doing an LA/DD group buy....and I want in on the free shipping... anyways..

34 gallon dimentions-35"x15"x15" reef tank

Current stock: nothing...
Planned stock: Barnacle blenny group, 2 skunk clowns...and.. something else which I haven't figured out yet...

How are rhino blennies in terms of aggression, and what area of the tank do they usually inhabit? Would they bother small shrimp and other crustaceans?

And lastly... any suggestions? In terms of stocking... im open to ideas... but Im hoping everything I'll be adding would do fine on a high quality pellet with frozen once a week (going to college so hardy fish, and my mom has seafood allergy hence the once a week frozen food feeding)

Hello - just started my 5 gal FOWLR and am looking to see if my eventual community will be great. I don't want to get in too fast so some help about when to add any clean-up crew would be great and maybe order for some of the species.

orange spotted goby
candy pistol shrimpy
pom pom crab
ocellaris clownfish
purple dottyback

With the clean-up crew I don't want too many around, just what will need to be supplemented out side what these guys will do.

My sub is not fine, its a med. density so I don't know if a goby will even be doing the sifting.

I am just looking for some unique and symbiotic species in this small world.

The fish you are looking at require a tank larger than 5 gallons.

Skunk clowns once sexually mature, will pretty much own a 34 gallon tank

With very few exceptions, only one blenny to a tank. In general blennies inhabit and perch on rockwork. They can be aggressive towards planktivores such as dartfish

Not sure what info you need so put everything below. My tank has been set up for about 8 months but because of health reasons had to put everything pretty well on hold other than regular maintenance. Now that I am in remission time to get going.

I currently have two Clown fish and a Royal Gramma

Some of the fish I am looking at are:

Starki Damsel
Starry Blenny
Dwarf Fire Angel
Blonde Naso
Kole Tang
Yellow Tang
Yellow Chromis
Mystery Wrasse
McCoskeri Flasher Wrasse
Copperband Butterflyfish
Yellow Watchman Goby / Pistol Shrimp
Neon Dottyback

I am also open to suggestions.

temp 78
PH 8.2
Salinity 1.26
Calcium 450
Alkalinity 10
Magnesium 1300
Phosphates, nitrates, nitrites, Ammonia 0

The tank is a 180 gal 6'X2'X2'
90 gallon sump/refugium
Super Reef Octopus XP3000I skimmer
3 AI Vega color fixtures for lighting
2 Vortech MP 40 wave makers (3200 gph x2)
ReeFlo Super Dart Gold Pump (3600 gph)
2 Jager 300 watt heaters
Neptune Apex controller
3 dosing pumps....(not used yet)
BRS Dual GFO & Carbon Reactor...(not used yet)

20 gallon QT tank

Dwarf Fire Angel
Blonde Naso Needs a larger tank
Kole Tang
Yellow Tang must be added last
Yellow Chromis
Mystery Wrasse Potentially incompatible with flasher and fairy wrasses
McCoskeri Flasher Wrasse
Copperband Butterflyfish difficult, best chance is with an Australian collected one
Yellow Watchman Goby / Pistol Shrimp
Neon Dottyback very aggressive and will preclude many tank inhabitants including some of the above

I am also open to suggestions.

I am happy to reevaluate any stocking list but as those who follow this thread know, I do not provide recommendations/suggestions for a variety of reasons.

The tank is a 180 gallon 6'X2'X2'. I have a 75 gallon sump and a 29 gallon refugium.

I have two Amphiprion Ocellaris that were transferred from a different tank.

I'm looking at the following fish to add:

Paracheilinus carpenteri - Group of 2
Wetmorella nigropinnata
Cirrhilabrus aurantidorsalis - Group of 2
Cirrhilabrus lineatus
Pseudanthias pulcherrimus - What would be a reasonable size group?
Cryptocentrus cinctus with alpheus randalli
Opistognathus aurifrons
Ctenochaetus flavicauda
Acanthurus olivaceous
Synchiropus splendidus

Thank you for your help. It is much appreciated.

Can you have more than one pair of goby and pistol shrimp in a 90 gallon reef tank?

I have the one pistol shrimp and a blood shrimp. How many more shrimp can be safely added?

I am setting up a 58g Oceanic, mixed reef. Not sure what type corals I will venture into yet but plan on having some. Also will have a couple shrimp

These are the fish I would like to have:
Bicolor Angel
Pair of black ocellaris clownfish
Exquisite Fairy Wrasse
Sailfin Blenny

Is there any other fish that I could add to this? Anything you would take out and add something different?

Tank size is sufficient to sustain both. If you have a social acclimation box, it would most likely be doable.

I have a 55 gallon tank with fluval 205, hanging aqueon filter, and live rock. I want to get

2 x ocellaris clownfish
Orange Goby
Flame Angel
Lemonpeel Angel
Kole Tang
Copperband Butterflyfish

Orange Goby
Flame Angel marginal tank size for two dwarf angels
Lemonpeel Angel
Kole Tang requires a larger tank
Copperband Butterflyfish requires a much larger tank; also, very difficult in the proper setting of which your environment is not
