Are there any other aggression issues with it? I'd sooner get rid of the firefish to keep the wrasse

It is always best to refresh the stocking list you are inquiring about since I do thousands of these and going back is often difficult and my memory is not what it used to be. The basslet may also be subject to aggression. And, of course, going forward you would have to be aware of potential future tank mates.

I am working on starting up my first saltwater tank and it has been running for about a week so far. The details are below in my signature but it is a 75 gallon with sump and I have 75lbs of dry rock, 5lbs live rock, and 80lbs of sand (not live). So far my wife and I have come up with the following list of fish that we would like to keep and we would also like to keep some soft corals as well but haven't decided what yet. Will these fish coexist with each other and corals?

Fish Name Quantity
Ocellaris Clownfish 2
Blotched Foxface 1
Bicolor dottyback 1
Midas Blenny 1
Royal Gramma Basslet 1
Six Line Wrasse 1
Yellowtail Damselfish 1

Thanks,
Jack

125g reef with 40g sump, 100-140 pounds of rock (I'm at 100, thinking about getting more, may need it), 100 pounds of sand, 20g refugium with pods.

1 Black Axil or Blue Reef Chromis (not sure which yet)
1 Yellowstriped Cardinalfish
2 Ocellaris Clownfish
1 Yellow Tang
1 Green Mandarin
1 Whip Fin Fairy Wrasse
1 Lamarck's Angelfish
1 Black Cap Basslet
1 Yellow Watchman Goby

80 Gallon Shallow

80 Gallon Shallow

I have an 80 Gallon Shallow tank 48" x 24" x 16" with a 40 breeder sump.
This is a barebottom, topless tank so I am concerned with jumpers. Below is a list of fish I like but I am pretty sure I cannot have them all.
Please let me know what I can do.

-- Kole Tang
-- Canary Blenny
-- Black Clownfish
-- Purple Dottyback or Royal Gramma Basslet
-- Ignitus Anthias
-- Spotted Cardinal
-- Yellowstriped Cardinal
-- Green Clown Goby
-- Chromis

It would be great to have 1 of each but do any of these need to be in pairs or more?

Thank you

5" Sailfin Tang (Very mean)
3 Clarkii Clowns Total 4", 2.5", and 2" one will get killed by the female
2" Oscar Clown real name please?
4" Chysurus Angel

Scribbled Angel are on the sensitve side and the sailfin tang will likely bully it Or
Queen Angel Possible I doubt that you are going to be able to house 3 large angels in this sized tank. Depending on the size of those added, they may be bullied by the existing large angel
Emporor Angel

Also want to add the sailfin tang will never allow either to be added
1 Purple Tang
Or
1 Powder Blue Tang

Thanks

As I mentioned, the fairy wrasse may not tolerate the basslet due to aggression

It would be great to have 1 of each but do any of these need to be in pairs or more? pairs or greater are not required and in some cases are undesirable e.g. the anthias in this sized tank

Thank you

So would it be possible to have them ALL except the aggresive one?
None are known jumpers?

any fish can jump. Some fish are prolific jumpers and you do not have those. The only behavioral problem is possibly the chromis with the anthias but that is unlikely.

Will this work in a 120g Reef?

Kole Tang
White Cheek Tang
Tailspot Blenny
Royal Gramma
Pair of Watanabei Angels
Pair of Ocellaris Clownfish
Four Lyretail Anthias

Yes, but . . . getting a pair of watanabei angels established is non-trivial since the male in Genicanthus species is a difficult shipper and because unless you start with a bonded pair, you may find the female transition to male and kill the introduced male. For best results trying two tangs they should be quarantined and introduced concurrently.

I will take that into account. Thanks!

Just wondering...if I get two females will one turn into a male and then pair up?

hey guys I have a 26 gallon bowfront sitting around and I want to set it up
I have a penguin 200 filter for it, with a deep blue xd solar-flare Im going to put 15 pounds base rock with 10-12 pounds live rock. 20 pounds live sand
I just want to go simple either a snowflake eel, or an angler but I don't know what will be better suited for my tank.
also will that filter be able to handle that size saltwater tank with fish only?

I do not provide analysis of community predator tanks, but I have a lot of experience with single species/individual predators in their own tank. In my opinion, with the right angler, this would be ideal. Be prepared to feed appropriately and do not use krill as it may cause lockjaw. A snowflake eel would be difficult to contain and would need a larger tank.
