Hello!
I was hoping to get your opinion on a fish list for my new 120 gallon (4x2x2) tank that is conencted to a 35 gallon sump. It has close to 140 lbs of live rock between the display and sump that I have been curing for close to 2 months. I recently added some clean-up crew (snails and hermits). I'll be running carbon, gfo, and a skimmer. The skimmer will be upgraded in the next month or two (before the bulk of the fish hit the tank).
I've been running a biocube for the past 3 years or so so I have some stuff I'll be transferring over. I'll need to transfer:
1x orange and white ocellaris
1x flame angel
1x six-line wrasse will be a problem with many other potential tankmates
various softies and lps
RBTA (when tank matures.. I'm in no rush to transfer)
I would like to add:
1x black and white Ocellaris (I'm going to add it at the same time as I introduce the orange and white ocellaris to the new tank.. I'm also going to try and get the black and white to be significantly smaller than the orange and white).
1x Fox-Face Lo
1x small Yellow tang
1x small blue hippo tang needs a much larger (longer) tank
4-5x blue/green chromis will become one over time
I understand that I have 7 fish before the blue/green Chromis. Is this too much? In total it would be approximately 12 fish. I would like to add more lps and softies eventually.
I also know that tangs typically like a lot of swimming room so I've tried to set up the rock so there is a lot of space to swim. I'm hoping that with smaller versions of the tangs that they would be ok in the tank.
I would appreciate any advice!
Thanks,
Brandon
