Steve,
i was looking into adding a few more fish to my tank its 90 gallon with 30 gallon sump 125 lbs of live rock, deep sand bed.
I currently have
1 pair of clowns (Black ice ocellaris & Fancy piccaso percula)
1Mandarin dragonet (been with me for 8 months now)
2 red firefish (started with 3 then singled one out and he was a goner)
1 flame angel (very friendly no aggression)
1 yellow tang (im in the process of talking my wife into letting us rehome him, it was the first and only fish she has ever wanted. and this fish is the only interest she has in this hobby... its been a struggle with her. the reason i want to rehome is im stressed about him being cramped even though its a small yellow tang)
1 marine betta
1 scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp
3 brittle stars
1 large RBTA

may i get your advice on the following
i am wanting to get
a pair for yellow watchman gobies
and a yellow eye kole tang

also looking for any angel that is compatible with my setup and inhabitants.
thanks in advance

Halichoeres wrasses mix well without issue.

Great, thank you. Some people from a Google search had some issues but theirs were already established. Just wanted to make sure, liveaquarias bio made it seem they would be ok together. I'd probably introduce at the same time and qt together for more chance of success

Concurrent introduction is a good thing for most competitors but Halichoeres should not be an issue with your protocol.

Thank you for the information, I think I like them better than some of the fish on my list. Are halichoeres compatible with nerites/ nassarius/ cerith snails, conches, and brittle starfish as well? I read they eat worms and pyramellid snails, so these should be ok?

I personally do not trust Halichoeres or Thalassoma wrasses with inverts.

Pair of bird wrasse I have doubts about their compatibilty with the other wrasses
Melanurus wrasse
Carpenters flasher wrasse
Red firefish

Should be fine except as noted

Would it be fine to introduce the fish I have listed in this order? It's a 28 gallon nano cube.

1 Pearly Jawfish (already have him)
2 Black & White Ocellaris Clownfish
2 Cleaner shrimp
Clean up crew of snails
1 Helfrichi
1 Pink Streaked Wrasse (Cryptic Wrasse)

The reasoning is I'm having a hard time currently locating a helfrichi and pink streaked wrasse locally.

Yes. The two fish you are waiting to locate are superb and worth the effort

Currently in a 28g JBJ, I've got 1 clownfish, 1 watchman, 1 coral banded shrimp, several hermits+ snails, 1 emerald.

looking to either get 1 jawfish or 2 fire gobys. which should I do?

While only one fire goby would work, there is no reason not to have one fire goby and a jawfish. The coral banded shrimp may be a problem long term.

Just bought my first tank and doing a pile of research. Mine as well post in here to see what people think. :)

I plan on doing a reef and my tank is a 125gal 72" x 18" x 18", I'll be running a skimmer with liverock and still figuring out if I'll be adding a sump or not. Note: The tank isn't together yet, I'm building a stand and have to get my lights and such so it'll be awhile before I buy any fish. BUT the fish I would like to add eventually are (2) Black Ice clowns, (1) Cleaner wrasse (1) Foxface, (1) Blue Hippo Tang, and my all time favorite that I always wanted (1) Purple Tang. That'll be about is as far as fish. Is this tank size sufficient? I plan that the two tangs will be bought as juveniles, and at around the same time if not the same day.

This thread is only answered by Reef Central Staff. If you wish general opinions, post your own thread in Reef Fish. Your tank is not large enough for P. hepatus and would be marginal for both a foxface and a purple tang but would be fine for either.
