My apologies. Clowns have been removed.
Here is the current list.
2 clowns, male lyretail anthias, yasha goby, mystery wrasse, dotty back.

50gallon cube with skimmer, liverck, chaeto. I want to add a yellow coris or six line because I have a small planarian flat worm issue. Mystery wrasse current very docile as he is getting plunked by the dotty

the mystery wrasse will not be likely to survive long term. A six line wrasse will kill either or both the mystery wrasse or the dottyback. Or the dottyback will get him.

Adding a pair of yellow tail damsels at last??

Adding a pair of yellow tail damsels at last??

I have 1 Clarkii clown, 1 yellow&purple wrassee and 1 bi color blenny in my 65g tank (with some corals).
They are in perfect harmony but I don't think they'll let me add more fish.
I tried adding a leopard wrasse and he was killed.
I added 2 long fin fairy wrasses, they got killed two (I think mainly by the yellow wrasses but the Clarkii helps him)

I really need to add a couple of colorful small fish to this list.
If I add a pair of yellow tail damsels how would that work out?

I have a single tomato clown and a pistol shrimp (white with red stripes) in my rsm130, hink its about 35 galon. Im looking to buy a peppermint shrimp to deal with my apitasia probblem. Need to know if it will get along with my pistol shrimp though. Also looking for a yellow watchman gobie.

I do not know the exact species other than the clarkii clownfish, but clearly they are aggressive and will not allow additional fish. Perhaps you have a dottyback? That is the problem of adding before checking.

peppermint shrimp may or may not actually eat aiptasia. However the pistol shrimp will not be a problem. Neither will the gobie.

Yellow&Purple Wrasse : Halichoeres leucoxanthus
BiColor Blenny : Ecsenius bicolor

Blenny is not a problem, it is the Wrasse that is creating problems. If I add a pair of yellow tail damsels, will things become worse?

Halichoeres leucoxanthus would not normally be a problem except to almost any invertebrate and some wrasses. Damsels should not be a problem except that they are aggressive as well.

three clowns will become two clowns. Banded coral shrimp can take fish.

I am currently cycling a 135 gallon 36x36x24 rimless tank. It will be LPS dominate reef tank. I plan on adding 1 or 2 every 8-10 weeks after they have been quarantined. Below is my wish list. Thanks in advance for your help. I also need help with stocking order.

1. Yellow watchman goby (with pistol shrimp)
2. Royal gramma basslet
3. Purple fire fish
4. 2 snowflake clowns
5. 2 different fairy wrasses (open to compable options)
6. 3 Anthias (or other schooling fish option? Read chromis always die back)
7. Mandarin dragonet (I have 100 gallon basement sump/refugium for pods, would add at the earliest 6 months from now)

all are fine, no issues. I would avoid chromis at this point as there are issues with collection

Standard 75 Gallon Tank....

Current stock is:
Flame Hawk
2 Engineer Gobies
Coral Beauty

Would like to add:
Midas Blenny
2 Occelaris Clowns
Kole Tang

Possibly a harem of mckoskers or carpenters wrasses for color and activity....

Too much bioload? Any fish that wouldnt get along? I know the engineers can move lots of sand and rocks need to be stable to keep them.

I also am starting up a new 40g breeder, which I will get advice on later. Thanks for your time

I asked before for some fish purchase but decided to change them. I have a pink dotted goby in my quarantine tank right now and I am thinking of adding 2 ocellaris clown fish together on my QT (10gallon) or just add 1 Diadema Basslet Fish on the QT.

I have a peppermint shrimp on my DT right now, do you think all these fishes would be alright with my little guy once I added them all?

DT: 28 nano cube led
hob-1 skimmer
refugium at the back of the cube

pseudochromis are exceptionally aggressive and will not get along

Hey there,
55g fowlr with 20g sump + skimmer

Fish already in tank
1 Banggai Cardinal
1 Firefish
1 Royal Gramma

Can I add:
2 perc clowns
1 Kole Tang

Im getting conflicting advice from the net rgding size for the tang. If the 50g is too small, can I add an auriga butterfly fish instead?

Steve - you were quite helpful before and I wanted to run an updated plan by your expertise.

Setting up a 40g breeder, 20g sump/fuge, skimmer, FOWLR. Undecided between a glass top or 1/4" mesh top.
Planning a 1-2" sandbed for most of the tank, going to try to make a LR terrace to create a deeper section in one area for jawfish with LR rubble.

Current: (in a 20g long - to move to the 40g once set up)
-1 female percula clown (always has been a single)
-1 neon blue goby (Elacatinus oceanops)
-1 flagtail goby (Amblyeleotris yanoi) - added from QT 6 days ago and haven't seen since, not sure if he is still in there, lots of hiding spots
-1 candy pistol shrimp (Alpheus randalli)
-Nassarius / cerith snails

Would like to add:
-1 flame angel (Centropyge loriculus) - (added last)
-1 Punctato butterfly (Chaetodon punctatofasciatus) or Lemon butterfly (Chaetodon miliaris) if tank size is appropriate
-1-2 pearly jawfish (Opistognathus aurifrons)
-1 fighting conch, unless it would be problematic with jawfish
-2 peppermint or cleaner shrimp
-Additional snails

Alternate:
-1 royal gramma (Gramma loreto) - instead of the butterfly if it isn't a good choice

Thank you very much!
