Thoughts on Acares Midget Reef Chromis and Blue Reef Chormis? Are they as prone to problems as the Greens?

I forgot to add those as maybes, and it was too late to edit XD

I am only aware of health issues with Blue and Green Chromis. However, all chromis will reduce their number over time in moderate sized tanks.

Sorry, I do not provide analysis of aggressive fish stocking lists. Please try the aggressive fish forum.

I posted my list already and you did not mention anything, but i was just looking up some information about the purple firefish (dartfish) and read that they will be aggressive towards "similar looking fish"

I plan on adding a yellow headed jawfish after this guy is well acclimated to my tank, is there any chance of him mistaking the jawfish as another dartfish?

I have already payed for the purple firefish and i am picking him up tonight :bounce2:

If I missed your list, I am sorry. Sometimes when the pages change, I miss one when there is a high level of activity. The more likely scenario is the jawfish acting aggressive towards the firefish.

Nope you didn't miss me you just didn't mention anything about the two of them being a problem, thanks so much!

You are really doing a great thing here, i highly appreciate it!

I would like to add the following to my 2.5 month old tank. I started my refugium 2 weeks ago but added more Chaeto and what looks like red Chaeto yesterday.
3-5 chalk bass
One bristle tooth tang, maybe Tomini
Mandarin dragonet the

I would also like to add button polyps and some other coral lately

I have a quarantine tank so I would add these sequentially after quarantine.
I would love any feedback.

3-5 chalk bass must be added concurrently; not shrimp safe
One bristle tooth tang, maybe Tomini
Mandarin dragonet the after nine months tank maturity

No behavioral issues; fine long term plan. I am having to revise my comments as I notice a sixline wrasse in your fish list. That is not compatible with a mandarin.

The six line is small, maybe 1.5" so would he be compatible with a large mandarin, 3", or a scooter mandarin that's smaller?

It is not a size issue. It is because it will compete for food and the six line will win out. Also, six line wrasses are not fond of fish that occupy the same ecological niche from a food perspective. In any case a six line wrasse will limit your choices going forward because of its aggressive nature.

Tang and 4 new damsel , hermit crabs and snails.
