Hi, I'm new to the hobby, and have a limited knowledge of fish species. Kept tanks with Dad a long time ago using under gravel and wet/dry filters stocked with fish we collected locally.
My aquascape consists of two islands and will not be overcrowded with corals. I'd like to be fish heavy.
Thank you in advance for all the advice and help, I already learned more than I thought possible through this forum and google.
My tank is 150g, 72x18x30, 30g in sump, 150# live rock, reef oct XP2000I skimmer. Tank is 3 months old. I want to add SPS in a about 6-8 months after I change to LED lights, acquire some reactors and establish a Fuge.
Have:
1 Green Chromis
2 Firefish four firefish may in the long run become one firefish;
2 Purple Firefish
1 Bartlet Anthias (Male, 3 Males turned into 1, didn't know better)
3 Yellow Tangs (didn't know better, same LFS that sold me the Change LFS or at least stop listening to their advice; not long term viable
3 male Bartlet's)
2 Stocky Anthias (M&F) (not staying, Male is aggressive towards everything)
Wish List:
1 Orange Shoulder with established yellow tangs (3!!!) you will not be able to add any tangs and may not be able to add any larger fish
1 Kole Tang
1 Purple Tang (When I get one the remaining yellow will be receiving its walking papers)
1 Flame Back or Flame Angel not reef safe
2 Clown Fish + Anenome (GF's choice, can I keep 2 pairs or is one the right number?) one pair of clownfish; however, species makes a difference as some are super aggressive
1 Golden Rhomboidalis Wrasse Male
1 Flame Fairy Wrasse Male
1 Lineatus Fairy Wrasse Male
1 Carpenters Flasher Wrasse Male all of the above wrasses are prolific jumpers and you will need a mesh top with 1/4 inch holes
1 Royal Gramma
3 Bartlet Anthias (female, as many as I can responsibly keep in my setup)
Thanks again,
Jason
