In a 40g tank
Have: 2 Osc Clowns, 1 Allen's Damsel (have had them for a year and a half'ish)
Adding: Juvenile Royal Gramma. She is in QT, so it's kind of a done deal, but still. Any concerns?
Would like to add: 1 more Allen's damsel to pair up with the existing one (is it even possible?)

Allen's damselfish is gorgeous with its neon coloration but it is indeed aggressive. So, it may have an issue with the Gramma Loretto and may have an issue with a conspecific. Since I avoid damsels due to the their aggressive nature, in small tanks especially, I can not accurately predict compatibility.

Thinking about adding another tang to my 125 reef. I currently have a Tomini tang, black cap basslet, antennata lionfish, LeMarks angel and a two-stripe rabbitfish.
Also the lion will be moved soon.

I am specifically interested in a white cheek or a powder blue.

I would not with three active fish, and of course a fish which will eat other fish.

I am considering adding either a Blue Dot or Yellowhead Jawfish blue spotted jawfish require cooler temperature for long term viability
and thinking about the possibility of a cleaner Wrasse. cleaner wrasses have poor survivability except the African sourced ones; also, they do not clean parasites and you have insufficient clients for them to clean. Problematic with a six line wrasse


Also considering a Gramma Loretto and am aware that the 6 line may have issues with it (thanks to your fine advice a while back).

Your only issue is that in a smallish tank with a pair of shrimp gobies, there may be territorial squabbles since the jawfish will want to make a home in the sand.

I have a standard 75g with a 20g long sump. So far I have a pair of black and white occelaris clownfish and (1) Royal Gramma. I have a cuc consisting of snails and hermits. Also have a frogspawn and some zoa's. Looking for reef/coral safe. Ultimately want a mandarin dragonette after the tank matures. I would like to make the following my next addition:

Flame hawkfish (Neocirrhitus armatus) (I have no plans of having shrimps)

Hello, I have a 29g tank (30x12x18) with LPS only. I just wanted to double check on my stocking. I just want to make sure I'm not getting near it's carrying capacity. I currently have 2 black ocellaris, 1 azure damselfish, 1 tuxedo urchin, 1 rock boring urchin, 2 pep shrimp, 1 cleaner, and several snails/crabs. I want to add 1 starry blenny and perhaps another small fish afterwards. Would it be okay to add both or should I just stop stocking once I get the starry?

Capacity will be determined by behavioral issues rather than bioload. The clownfish, once sexually mature will want to control about 25 gallons of tank space. The damselfish is aggressive and will compete with the blenny.

Thanks. Yeah right now the clownfish bullies the damsel quite often, but I haven't noticed him actually making any contact. Ill add the blenny and keep an eye on everyone.
