Please show pics of your 180 tanks

Very nice pics chad!

April, it could get eaten bit by bit, but hopefully it is still alive. I've see them do this when I worked at the pet store and they can make new tubes, but not sure what this really means for yours. I have more frequently seen them loose the feathered crown and then regrow a new one. Hope your shows up with a new tube!

Thanks cedliss, I'll hope with you, I cant find him anywhere, maybe he found a safe place to hide for now, Soooooo, hows the little one?

Those are some really nice pic there Chad508. Very nice tank too. What kind of camera do you have?

chad508, Is that your Congo Grey? Looks Like a Cameroon! Very nice looking bird. Bred birds for about 20 years till about 4 months ago! miss the hand feeding sometimes.

I love the pics though, all of them are so crisp looking. great job.
All of you have really sharp pics, Well I'm not sure though, about jarhed, his camera must be on the blink. ROFL

Mike and Cedliss, what camera do you two use?

Look look look!!!! I just noticed my little RC member emblem! Yeaaaaa! I'm legal.

I also have an Olympus that I love. Its the c 750, very similiar to Chads!
Congrats on the premium membership. I plan to upgrade to at some point!

Well you do take very beautiful pics, I've been trying to do the avitar, Good lord, I never realized how much I didnt know, till I started trying to figure out all this picture stuff. You would laugh so hard. I decided to try it again tomorrw! It has frustrated me to death, I know when I get it all down, I will not understand why I didn't get it the first time. I'm getting there.

Well I think I cropped it to death and the size took for the avitar, I dont know if it will look ok but I think it worked, we will see soon. I remembe the night Mike got his membership and his avitar, he was so excited. Now I see why! I guess I'm easily amused lol

That's an awesome shot April! They must think your going to feed them. It makes me envious cause I no longer have a nice collection of fish like you. What is your feeding routine like? What and how often do you feed?

I cant tell cedliss which I like best on the lighting, try one with just the 400 watt, that would put it right in the middle. Really nisce side shots though. I have never tried the side shot before.

I didnt want all the dig fish, I wanted the smaller ones that were in and out of everything, Tose are the hiubbies only request on the tank, and he actually bought 3 of them. LOL

All of those 5 can clean 5 read lettuse leaves on about 3-4 hour, I give them the luttuce a couple of times a week, I feed 2 of the frozen food every day, And feed them flakes every day.

The clown and the 2dragon gobies and the mandrin all eat the left overs, The bio blend food , calls in the wild, its so funny, all of the hermits fall off the rock and scurry to the front of the tank and pig out on it, not sure whats in it but they love it,even the 4 shrimp come running. But all in all, IMO there is too much Bio load in the tank. But everything is ok, I fight Nitrates alot and do alot of water changes. I still am going to get the ASM G3. I have wanted it too long. But Im glad you like the fish, they follow me every where I go. it's hard to take pics of the coral. I get a lens full of fish every time. And throw the focus off. LOL They remind me of puppies.:eek1:

Yeah, I agree. The photo doesn't really help you distinguish between the lights. It doesn't catch that variation well. But there is quite a bit of difference in intensity to the naked eye, and a fair bit of spectral variation as well. I'll take another series of pics later with just the 400 watters on!

april that is my congo, had him for three years now. i got him before i got back into the reef. i never thought birds would be some much fun and entertaning.

cedlis, I think your white corals look beter with the 175's but the colors look great with the higher lighing. I keep bouncing back and forth with it, but I like it either way.

chad508, yes they are very intellegent, One of my personal favorites.

I was talking to the LFS, they said that the 6 Line Wrasses will eat the little star fish that are terrorizng my tank, so I guess you know what my next purchase will be!! The little killing machines will be HISTORY!
