Please show pics of your 180 tanks

vthondaboi, are you playing? lol I liked it the last way. This is good too though. You dont have to make it level all the way across, you can do it any way that suites you! Your just having fun!!!

I just got one of those Ogles for my anniversary present here is a pic I tried to take.

Mike thats awsome!!! Is it something you hook up to the camera?

642642. there's my skimmer!! LOL Looks good! When are you hooking it up?

Well April they don't have a camera connection yet so I just put my camera by the eyepiece. It doesn't work very well but they are working on an attachment. It is very cool but I could of gotten allot of corals for that price.

here are some ideas even though i am looking for some myself this tank is only 3 months old and in the pic nothing is out like it should be the lights turned on about an hour before the pic was taken as you can see my sun polyps are still out some but i want to add more rock and obviously more fish and corals. i have the valley inn the middle i kind of like that idea as i saw on your comment way back in the pages you did too. well ill stop my carrying on. here are some pics. criticism accepted bad and good. good luck on your tank

Gosh eveyone, looking great! I have had a daughter in labor for a week, she has been here most of the evening, They just left to go to the hospital again, I hope she does it tonight or at least by tomorrow, this has not been fun! I've missed getting on here to see what you all are up to.

Welcome jdmhonda954. tank is really nice, love the pics!

Kevin, I thought you got lost! LOL glad your still hanging in here. The tank looks great!

Mike I love the pics, WOW eggs? when did that happen? They probably have hatched out by now, how are they doing?

Yep April those are fish food now. The next batch is almost ready to hatch they will be fish food too I would like to try to raise some but I have been reading up on that and it will take some setting up first. They seem to spawn around two times a month now so I should get more chances.

Hey deansreef I think it has more to do with the size of fish more than how many. But I have 11 now.

deansreef,Mike is right, it depends on the size of the fish, I have 10 fish, 5 lg, and 5 small fish. If you go with too many fishi, you have lots of bio load and need to make sure your skimmer is big enough to handle it. or lots of water changes.

Mike, I hope you can get o couple to survive, that would be so neat.

Thanks for the pics guys and gals!
I am working on a 180 myself. I am going to try the built in look without building it in. I'm gonna go with an open top, tunzes, and possibly connect it to a 300 in the garage. I am going to try to make the 300 as low as I can than the 180, since it will be about 25' away. I have the tanks, just bought a 12-4 skimmer (HUGE!). I will post as I go, prolly on a new thread.
Great tanks! Cheers!

I have I think 16 fish now. Going to max out around 23 and stop.

I don't think that's much though.
1 Mandarin
6 chromis
1 royal gramma
2 clowns
1 midas blenny
1 waterman goby
1 copperband butterfly
1 yellow tang
1 hippo tang
1 naso tang

Future additions
1 mandarin for my other one
1 Sailfin tang that should be shipped next week.
Probably around 3 to 5 anthias for a school.

I'll be done then and I think my tank will be right at its limit.
