When all the hoopla broke loose some time back, there was a poll made back then on what the new name of the group should be. Since then, a lot of the active members here at Appalachian Reef Society (ARS) now run Fish Only With Live Rock (FOWLR) tanks. Since FOWLR are technically not 'reef' tanks, there are some who have been asking to change the club's name so it encompasses the different types of saltwater tank hobbyists in this forum.

Before we even consider making another name change, let's start a new poll.

reef (noun)
1a. a chain of rocks or coral or a ridge of sand at or near the surface of water.

"reef." Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary. 2010.

Merriam-Webster Online. 22 February 2010

Enough said.

I don't care if its changed or not. Is the name of the group really going to make a difference in the long run? Name it what you want, makes no difference to me.
