Thanks Stacie. Nothing much has happened in the last couple of weeks with the Acros. Too soon to celebrate though. Got a long ways to go before I'll let my guards down. The LPS are doing fine. The OS may have been stung by a neighboring Favia and it's recovered.

Have you done anything special? I seem to be having a problem with my acros as well. Very frustrating:( Happy yours seems to be coming around

Stacie, I haven't done anything special, just lots of water changes, hoping to flush out whatever it is that's causing the problem. Don't really know if it's working or if the mysterious "bug" is taking a break. It is extremely frustrating. Every day, I look at all the Acros to see if there is any more damage from the previous day. Sorry to hear you are having trouble also. What's happening to your corals?

When I grow up, I want to be just like.............

That is what I figured you were doing. Some of my acros, not all are very slowly stn'ing from the bottom or middle. It is really stange I have a 10" colony of the Atlantis tri color that has been STN'ing for about 2 months now:( The delicate corals that I would think would be affected seem to be fine so far. I have fragged several pieces and put them in a different tank and they do fine.
Yes you are correct very frustrating, I use to sit and watch the aquarium now everytime I look at it I just get aggervated:(

What you are experiencing sounds almost identical to my problems. The tissue necrosis typically starts at the bottom or middle. I am pretty sure it's not flow related because most of the colonies were in good flow and some didn't even have dense branching. The only thing different is that once in a while, I would have a case of RTN.

Unfortunately, I think I may have jinxed myself. Today, I noticed part of a crayola table dying and some tissue necrosis on one of the two remaining torts :(

I recently got one of these from Jon. So far it's a very convenient piece of equipment... if you have the room for it...

Very Nice Kenny!!!!
Please tell me you did not loose all your sps corals.
I do not think it is flow related either. I have 2 tunzes, 2 seaswirls and a wavy sea all the corals seem to get a good amount of flow.

I got just the spot for it :D Just like everything else, I've been too lazy to plug it in yet.

Thanks Stacie! No, not all of it. At least not yet. Just off the top of my head, I think I've lost at least 1/3 of my collection.
