Hey I'd like to see pics of any of you that have the hawkins echinata frag? Has it been sensitive in your experience?

Here's a photo of my colony. I bought it as a 1.5" frag last march, and it's grown into a good-sized colony about 4"x5", and that's with me fragging it several times. In my experience it's been a really hardy and fast-growing coral.

Shite! That's stunning! - can you box that up and ship it to me here in Canada - mark gift on the box - oh yeah - don't forget to add water

Very nice

Mine's about an 1.5" frag still... only because I've accidentally broken it several times lol... But I must say I've found it to be very hardy and fast growing. My cell takes crappy pics. But it's definitely a nice coral to have :)

Thanks everyone. Currently, it is sitting under 150w 14k phoenix bulbs and T5 atinics, but it was under T5s only the first 7 or 8 months after I bought it, and still looked as good and grew as fast. I've been really impressed with how well the coral keeps its color. I upgraded tanks, as well as lighting, back in November, and a few of my corals have lost some color, or stopped growing a bit, but the Hawkin's hasn't missed a beat.

Here's a top-down shot of my colony, it's not as blue as SKremks'. I also find it to be a hardy and fast grower.

Love it! Awesome growth pattern and placement!

Nice pic's guys. Here are some progress pictures of my Hawkins over the last year or so. The last picture was taken in December under different lighting ( Now all T5's instead of the old 175 watt Iwasaki halides). Also the last pic was under the dusk/dawn lighting, 3 Blue plus and 1 Purple plus.

Wow I love the pictures of all the corals. They all look like great colonies. Thanks for the pictures. I think that will definitely be my next purchase.

Here is mine that I got about 5 weeks ago. Started about 1" and has about doubled. Hope I get some similar results as all of you.
