Really proud of this image:

I typically don't get such crisp images of my fish, and feel lucky to have gotten such a lovely shot. This is a fish that I've wanted for years, and finally have one in QT. Can't wait to get it into the main tank.

I love my potters. Hes actually way more active then i thought he would be. Most i have seen are shy and this guy is just crazy!

Thanks! I've been trying to get some ideas for the "wife's" next present lol

Awesome looking fish to, I have one of those on my must have list.

Does she already have a DSLR? Would this be her first DSLR? Take a look through this forum - there's a lot of information about what kind of lenses to get for macro photography.

No she doesn't and it would be her first. She's expressed some interest in photography and said its something she wants to get into. I've seen several pictures on this forum and a few others where people are using the DSLR and it seems to be very popular. I've got a while to do some research but this seems to be toward the top of the list.

Great photo of a beautiful fish! They don't typically sit still and pose!

How is the QT going, is it eating? Mine took a while to eat, but loves NLS pellets now. Which is annoying given that mine also likes to nip SPS polyps, and in a tank my size (45 gallons, SPS dominant with frags only), it has resulted on him being put in the market for a new home. He is tentatively sold :(

beautiful fish. mine has been eating since day one. looks very healthy. taking Mysis, spirulina brine, angel mix, etc. haven't tried dry pellets yet - just the frozen stuff.

That is good, strangely mine wouldn't take anything initially, but then it preferred pellet over frozen, which was a first for me. Good to hear its eating, it looks healthy! :)

Problem with Potters is, they often seem to settle in and eat, then a few months later they're dead! IMO, less than 6 months is not the time to claim success with a Potters...

Good to know... I'll be sure to keep an eye on it. I'm all of 2 weeks in now! lol

That bodes well for mine then... too bad he'll be going to someone else.
