Prisitine plumbing thread!

I've cleaned up some things since these pics but I like the way mine has turned out so far. :)

Is your Manifold running off of the drain line? Or am I looking at it wrong?

Whoa! Sorry it took so long for me to see this. :spin2: The manifold tees off the return. It's also a bleeder/recirc line back into the sump if need be. The two drains are the vertical line to the left and the flex pvc in the middle of the pic. ;)

Here's just the sand filter portion of a new system. Just pressure tested...not one leak :) You can kind of see the protein skimmer off to the left side.

This is a GREAT thread! The attention to detail on some of the plumbing jobs is mind boggling!

Here are the results of my sump swap from a couple weeks back. DT is 480G. Sump and fuge total about 180G capacity.

This picture was taken after I laid and glued most of the plumbing together before I pulled the old wet dry and installed the new sump/fuge combo.

Part of this weekends project. 114W Aqua UV added to the recirc line. Reactor installed on the return line. Phase 2

RO/DI storage and salt water holding/mixing tank. This will be setup for an ATO and autowater change system controlled by a litermeter 3. This was todays project.

RO/DI and Litermeter. I just installed the RO/DI and holding tanks today. Litermeter is not connected yet.

GREAT THREAD!!! Here are some pics of my current build. I am about a week away from water. I love the clean look of the other builds.

Here's a partial view from the top showing the protein skimmer and overflow box. Skimmer is 14ft tall so a little 12" pipe is attached :)

You can cut it with a sawzall. Just mark and cut carefully. As should be done with any size pipe, bevel the edges slightly once cut.

a few more for you...

All are simply amazing. Lots of inspiration in this thread. Makes me want to redo my system (not to mention the rats next of wires under the stand).
