Puffer vs snail

I have a puffer in my brackish tank (Tetraodon fluviatilis), that I'm concidering introducing to my marine tank. (can live in both marine and brackish waters)
He's about 2 inches now and will become approx 8 inches, so he´s not among the largest puffers.

I wonder if anyone have any experience with this puffer (or similar sized)
- if they kill Astraea-snails or corals? (that I´ve heard larger one does)

puffers eat anything. So, I'd venture a guess that the puffer would flip over the snails and eat 'em.

Yes, he can be acclimated to SW. No puffers are reef safe though.
