I have an oceans motions device hooked to two closed loop returns on my tank. Pump sits inside the cabinet, so it needs to be quiet. Only one I had sitting around was a Blueline 20 which is really not cutting it. I'm considering one of those Chinese DC pumps because they are reputed to be quiet and energy efficient.
But I haven't seen all that much discussion of these pumps beyond the initial 'better than sliced bread' period. Are folks still using them, or have they largely proven to be duds. Ideally I want something that is very quiet and energy efficient.
