Purple crispa

Very nice. Question on your Marine Betta pair
Do they hang around each other or just not fighting in the tank? My old pair in my 450 I remember they were around each other. This pair in my 320 seem to be in opposite end of the tank. They just don't fight. This pair is not quite mature. The younger of the two is just over 3.5 inches. Maybe they will be more socialble when they are mature

Two pictures from this morning:

At the moment mine are still only two females.
Marine Bettas don't really from cooperative pairs like anemonefish, rabbitfish, butterflies or some large angelfish. The males allow a number of females within their territory, but there is usually not much socializing going on beyond spawning.
Your old pair must have been a rather rare exception.

Do you think I can have three Marine Betta in a 320 gal with 1 male and two females? Petco here in Corpus Christi have a small Marine Betta. I am really thinking of getting him and put him in my tank to get three if this is possible.

Looking great. I'm wondering if there may be more than one type of anemone being called malu's. The ones I see have short stubby tentacles

pfan151,
If you take good care of him, his tentacles will elongate.

Vincent,
That green tipped Malu pictured above is the anemone that you sent me. He is a beauty. Thanks

This anemone is getting bigger and bigger:

Well, Sunday my crispa contracted significantly. I did a water change later that day but today it was sill quite small.
Not necessarily deflated, but not even nearly as large as usual. I hope this isn't the beginning of the end... GRRRR. :headwally:
