Purple Long Tentacle

I have had this PLT in my tank for about 6 months and it has quadrupled in size and now is over a foot in diameter. It is now taking up way to much space in my reef and I have been trying to get it out with no such luck. If anyone has any ideas pleas let me know. - Thanks

Direct a powerhead at it's foot.
I've also heard people say ice at the foot will make it release.
