Purple LTA?

it is very nice. mine looked like yours when i first got it with the stripes. but now mine got darker and lost the white stripes on the tentacles.

What is the average price you guys are paying for a LTA? My LFS has an "Aussie LTA" for $99, but they are generally overpriced on lot of things.

Would like to see a picture of the underside of the oral disc --- an LTA (( Macrodactyla doreensis )) will have "bumps" (( verrucae )) on the underside --- to make sure but it sure looks like one.

This is what the verrucae look like (( ignore the hole in the bottom of the foot ))

That has got to be one of the coolest pictures I've ever seen. I handle my BTAs with great care and never have even seen the bottom of any 'nem. Thanks for sharing!!

Shows how lighting has a huge impact on how an anemone looks.

Bosnainut brings up a great point, I upgraded my MH bulbs about 3 months ago from 250 W cheap 20K pulsrites, to 250 W 15K XM bulbs and have seen a HUGE difference not only in this LTA but across the whole tank.

This has been another project of mine, got a small RBTA from one of the bigger online sites, when it showed up it was small, bleached and had what looked to be green tips. This was supposed to go into a 30 gal clown tank that had been setup for about 5 months. Because of its poor heath I didn't feel comfortable putting it into the new tank. So into the 150 it went, I was nervous that the LTA and the RBTA would not get along, but nine months later the only battle is who is the center piece of the tank

When it was new,

2 Years In The Tank!

2 Years In The Tank!

Today marks two years in my tank, has never moved more than a couple inches since day one. Not alot of change in the last six months, but looking great as always!

Markie, its column (foot) is buried deep in the sand aroun 5 inches, and im guessing attached to the bottom of the tank.

Looks like you have some corals that are going to need moving soon! Nice LTA, I miss my old one that died from being stung by a handdoni.

Looks Very Happy, love the color. Now you need it to split. I got a RBTA from a RC member and after a month it and my BTA split. This is them under a T5 fixture. Here they are after almost one year.
