Purple Tang White Mark - Great...

Hey guys,

While looking at my Chevron (In a different QT that had a bite wound), I noticed this little white spot on my Purple Tang in QT today...

What do you think it is?

ICH / Flukes?

I had just started treating with PraziPro.

This is the best shot I could get it...

Also tried to bump the color up and bit and crop...

Noticed a bit of HLLE as well... maybe just stress? Going to do a big water change this Friday and I'm feeding Nori/Mysis/Formula 2 Flakes soaked in Garlic/Selcon/Vitamins.

What was the source of the fish? It sort of looks like a pit, might be the picture though. Is it a lump on the surface of the skin or a wound?

It's more flat than raised I'd say.

What would a pit indicate? Water Quality / Nutrition / Wound?

Wound possibly, or something similar to your chevron developing? Just guessing at this point.. Keep an eye on it. If it gets worse it might be easier to diagnose.

Yeah different sellers on both fish.

Purple had a frayed fin, maybe got in a fight with another Tang before it shipped?

Seems fine, eating, etc...

BTW: Rea17, going to need to start paying you to diagnose my fish and get me over my paranoia lol

It's funny, I did a big water change on the QT tanks today and made it so the Purple and Black couldn't see each other.

About an hour later the Purple is acting much more normal.

Ever since I got the Black, the Purple has hardly been swimming and stays in the corner where he can see the bigger Black Tang.

Now that they can't see each other, the Purple is much more peppy lol
