i read a post from like the 16th that someone was trying to put a picture of clowns hosting anemones on their tank to i guess show them? He said his anemones reacted to the pics but never followed up with what happend?? Could this work? If not or even else, what else could i do to get them to host with my bta?

I read that post too. I was seriously considering that if doing that prompted a non hosting clown to host, It might be worth while for me to post some "clown porn" up on the wall of the tank to sort of give 'em the idea. ;)

jason, you wrote "He said his anemones reacted to the pics."

How would that be? Anemones can't see pics.

lol, that what i was thinking

jason ive done it and it worked...also try try putting the nem and clowns in a small container until they find it.it also worked for me.

what you can also do that worked for two pairs of my clowns is to go and buy a red laser pointer from petco or petsmart for two dollars...
The fish go crazy when you point it into the tank...took two tries and the clowns found their home.
This worked for a carpet and black saddlebacks and for a RBTA and tomato clowns..

Posting pics worked for me but it still took about a month for them to learn. I now have a pair of black and white occellaris that I want to host a haddoni. I am going to try posting pics on the tank but will try the laser pointer too. Never heard that one.

worked for me as well (percula w/ frogspawn). it took my guy a couple of weeks, but i got lucky! i've heard it takes at least 3-4 weeks.
