African Flameback, had it for three months and it was a model tankmate. Overnight it discovered that sps and clams apparently taste better than frozen mysis and pellets and inflicted damage quick. First sign was loss of PE but I didn't think much of it. I then noticed my deresa was staying closed, this piqued my interest and required a closer look. Almost immediately the flameback swims by and chomps on the clam. It then swam throughout the tank taking a bite out of each coral it passed. Catching that little s.o.b was a major pain and I have many new frags to prove it. This all happened today, if you had asked this yesterday I would have said the flameback is great for a reef.
