Depends on aquascaping. If the rock is 6" off each panel, you could easily light a 36" wide tank.

wow, a 10 bulb powermodule is some serious stuff. Im not sure how wide the powermodule is, but I think you can cover anything with 6 inches in front and back to spare. I hope that made sense.
I had a 10 bulb powermodule on a 30" wide tank, and I had encrusting montis growing in the very front and back of the aquarium....on the sand bed.

I'm considering an upgrade to a custom Miracles tank that will be 72" x 36 x 24. Although I love my 400 watt Radiums I'm trying to cut down on electrical consumption and have a clean, sleek fixture suspended above the tank instead of building a canopy to house my Lumenmax Elite reflectors.
I wish there was someone close by that had a powermodule so I could gauge the spread. Thanks for the input guys.
Oh, and JG, I still would love to see your rimless tank from Miracles and see if there's anything else I can pick up on that we're talking about in your thread.

I love my powermodule for two major reasons.
1. Unlimited bulb combo colors. I could never find a halide bulb that I liked but I finally found T5 bulbs that I LOVE
2. Increase real estate useage. Even with good reflectors there were some "dimmer" spots in my tank that could only house certian species. With my PM I see light giving growth even under ledges (font to back). I estimate my tank acro useable space to be up by 20 to 30%. I can put acros in the front corners and they'll grow.
Downside? Cost and replacing ballasts. I had to replace 2 on mine and if you have to replace the dusk/dawn ballast you'll say every swear word in the book and invent a few new ones. These lights are packed VERY tightly with zero slack in the wires.
Ballasts are cheap though. Like $25 each IIRC

I have a friend with a 10x80w PM over his 72x30x24 hanging about 20" above the tank and when we first turned it on, he was getting a PAR value of almost 400 on the sand bed.

Youl will be more than fine with this fixture. I have a 48" PM on a 150gallon tank 48L"X24w"X30H" and im growing sps on the sand. Be very careful though about aclimating your corals to the light. I have had many corals start to bleach out because of the intensity of the PM and the bulb combo that I run.
