Question for the Aquaforest Users

I use Coral E. I have a few LPS in my tank and a few Zoa/Paly colonies. The Z&P look better than they have since starting the tank - very bright. The LPS I have are Indo gold Torch (fat tentacles), neon green Candy Cane, rainbow Trachy, and Space Invaders Pectinia. The Torch hasn't been in the tank long - I added it early May. I was skeptical because I know the Indo Torches with thin tentacles are particularly susceptible to Brown Jelly Disease at lower alkalinity, but this one has so far been very happy and has brightened up since being in the tank.

Thank you so much for the good advise. I feel very comfortable with my dose now. I have noticed the fragility of the Indo torches and a few other lps from there as well. One main reason I asked the question. I have a number of tanks on the same system using aquaforrest and most are my wife's zoa's and chalices with random lps. I don't want to hurt them... I have just started using rocks as well. So far no difference. It I think I need another liter as well. If there is anything specific you have noticed that could turn the zoa's and lps on the wrong road let me know. I would assume look out for random bleaching or paling using energy with zoanthid and lps.

For the record, my tank is 73 gallons net, and I use 2 drops Coral E in the evening after lights out. I haven't seen any paling of the LPS or Z&P, nor the SPS either for that matter. I also have 2L Siporax in the sump running passively in a mesh bag. IME, for LPS and Z&P the biggest issue is usually too much light.

So are you considering that a half dose or spreading the every other day dose out to make it daily? I'm still a little confused on the actual manufacturers recommended dose.

Some dose daily and some every other day, the system is pretty forgivable and is not as specific as other systems. That said, Debora doses daily, I personally dose every other day, really depends on what you feel comfortable with. I am fairly certain most users I interact with dose every other day. But, you could split the dose for now and do daily, I doubt it will cause a problem or concern :)

Sounds good, thanks!

With coral e, or energy, I dose the full dose daily as this was in the instructions with it. The a and v are every other day but b and e daily. This is how I understood the manual. However, I know others, like perry, do every other day. For me I wouldn't say it has majorly paled any acros, except for ones which tend to be more pale (and look better) naturally like my pearlberry for instance. As I didn't see other, darker colored corals, paling I didn't think it was adding too much and I didn't see the need to cut back my dose to every other day. It is also a food source for corals so is adding nutrients 2 not just with the aim to pale corals.

I dose those 2 drops of Coral E every evening. I dose Coral V and Aminos every second evening switching back and forth which one.
