that things long gone. i got rid of that tank over 2 years ago when i moved to Texas. what im holding there is a mixture of caulerpa racemosa, dictyota and halimeada. the caulerpa and dictyota were good for nutrient export, but the halimaeda was only good for sucking preciouse calcium out of the system..

okay thanks anyways--and I agree with you about the haimaeda-I had a six inch bush of it and it did go through more calcium then I thought my tank should have been going through at the time

Hang in there, Evan! We've all experienced losses in this hobby. But your design has been a great inspiration! I have a 29-gallon tank sitting around. Now you've got me thinking about how cool it would be to set it up again. (Shhhh! Don't tell the wife! :lol: )

I find it interesting that the OP posts less in the thread then anyone else.....maybe Evan is up to his eyeballs in quotes....
