Radion dimming weird

I have my Gen 2 pro set to the factory programmed shallow reef setting. It's suppose to come on at 8am and go off at 7pm. My question is since my wife and myself has been home it's doing weird things. You can tell it's dimming now but when it does that it goes brighter for about 10-15 seconds and makes a clicking noise and was wondering if this was normal? I think I have the cloud probability set to 50% and storm to 70%

As the evening as progressed it seems to be dimming without going bright or atleast it hasn't in the passed 20-30mins

The clicking sounds you are hearing are from the touch-sensitive buttons on your Radions, which are reacting to interference. So essentially your lights think you are manually raising/lowering the intensity with the touch buttons on top of the lights. You can disable the buttons in EcoSmart Live by going to Devices and clicking on the gear icon for each Radion you have in your profile. Then uncheck the "Buttons Enabled" checkbox to disable the touch-sensitive buttons. You should do this for each Radion in your profile.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Okay thanks I will change that. Any idea why the light gets really bright before it goes back down

it still clicks even when I disable the buttons

David,

It sounds as though the buttons may not have disabled. Please follow the steps below:

1. Power down all Radions for 30 seconds
2. Power on All Radions
3. Connect via USB to a single Radion - If NOT using a ReefLink*
4. Open the Connection Manager - If NOT using a ReefLink*
5. Log in to EcoSmart Live using either Google Chrome or Safari as your web browser
6. Select the "Devices" tab
7. Select the "Gear" icon next to "Light 1"
8. Check the box to disable the Radion buttons
9. Repeat steps 7 & 8 for each Radion
10. Select the "Done" button to save changes
11. Once the page refreshes select the "Program Aquarium"
