Radion XR30W Pro experiences? warnings?

Just got them hooked up the other day, coming from a diy cree fixture that was lower light.

I've got soft/lps/sps, right now at about 15%, it may have been a bit dimmer than the last fixture, but I would like to give a bit extra acclimation since the spectrum has probably changed a bit too.

Any hindsight thoughts on these fixtures? I've seen a lot of posts warn of turning them too high so far.

Much appreciated, cheers!

Mine are at 100% Acans and acros

i run mine at 100% everyday.. switched over from a 250w SE halide. the unit has been over the tank since april of this year. overall i am pleased with the light and i have been a Halide fan for the last 10 years of my life. I sort of fell off over the summer with keeping up on water parameters so i cant say ive had lots of growth in the past 8 months but 320 calcium and a dkh of 4 wasnt really helping. when im on top of things i notice growth on the corals every week.

Lol I know the feeling. When I got a boat, I had some skipped duties and gained extra in the form of some HA.

You run full 100% each channel too? May I ask what's your tank size and how far that meteor shower is from directly under the unit? (unless ya know the par heh) I thought I might have my MS too close but maybe not according to that pic! :D

I run them at 100% the one on the left is an XR15 because of the overflo is in the way. I think its got the wide angle lens in it not TIR
I only keep Acros and Acans one torch is there but its under the XR15. I never played around with intensity to much.
Did in the start at 75% These lights Led diodes should last 10 years but I wish I got an ATI hybred.
The picture is old I have more corals in it now.
None of the corals are reacting badly to the light but it is too bright for coraline algae to grow. It only grows underneath and on the sides of the rocks.
Hope that helps

100% intensivity for 4 hours, but White is set to 50 . Still think it's not bright enough. Slowly ramping the White up now.

Thanks fellas!

Any thoughts on chalices? Anyone have any? Did you have to create shade for the low lights or are the diffused edges enough?
